Ford Mustang Celebrates its 47th Anniversary

The Ford Mustang debuted at the New York World’s Fair on April 17, 1964. Since its introduction, Ford’s third oldest nameplate, has survived through five generations and now is one of the leading and most sought after pony cars. The pony car is powered by a 3.7-liter V6 engine that pumps out 305 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. The Mustang GT is equipped with a 5.0-liter V8 that produces 412 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque. Lastly, the newest Mustang, the Boss, utilizes a 5.0-liter V8 and delivers 444 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque.

Inside the Mustang, one will find premium materials. The cabin impresses with its modern and comfortable environment. The Ford car can be fitted with a multitude of convenient features. In addition, the 2012 vehicle is safe with plenty of standard safety features, including antilock brakes, stability control, MyKey system, and front-seat side airbags.
