Well there are many reasons Costa Rica is the #1 destination for many travel seekers. And if you have never been, then you’re really missing out on the earth’s most beautiful county. Coffee farms, lush forests, exotic animals, wild monkeys, beautiful ocean coastlines, laid back living, friendly people and great food are just a few reasons to come visit. The list could really go on and on but its just something you have to see for yourself. This place will end up changing your whole outlook on what really matters in life.

My only advice to you is that you don’t just sit at the hotel for 7 days. I found that to be true while living in Costa Rica, many tourists would just want to relax in one hotel and then leave. And while I can see the reason for that, I felt they really left with no more understanding of Costa Rica then if they stayed at the Marriott in California. So if you are looking for the real Costa Rica I would suggest a driving tour. You will come back with tons of stories and really get a feel for the land. Costa Rica Cheap is known as the top provider for driving tours so I would suggest them. Either way, just come see what Costa Rica has to offer, you will not want to leave!

Living and working in Costa Rica for over 4 years.
