Clean, clear beautiful skin is something everyone wants. The face is the most popular area to want this skin. Many will spend hundred on expensive products or professional beauty spas.

Can you afford this expense? Fortunately for us there are lots of things we can make right at home for great skin care. These products are made from natural ingredients that you find in your kitchen cabinets and do wonders for your skin. Keep reading for great ways you can use plain oatmeal for a great facial.

The first one is a teaspoon of olive oil, an egg white and 1/2 cup cooked oatmeal. Make sure you stir the mixture really, really well so that the egg gets incorporated completely. Then add just a few drops of lemon juice and stir once more. Mixing well helps create a single paste. Now cleanse your skin as usual. Clean your neck too. Use the mixture you just created to mask your face and neck for your facial to begin. Be careful not to get it in your eyes. Let the mixture set on your face for between fifteen minutes and a half an hour. With a warm damp cloth, remove the mix from your skin and then rinse these areas with warm water.

Combine two tablespoons of cooked oats with a tablespoon of plain yogurt. Be sure that you mash the cooked oats as you mix the ingredients together. Be sure that you have completely broken down the oats before you attempt to put the mixture on your face. If your mixture is too thick it can be thinned with more yogurt or a little bit of milk. Spread it on your face, taking care to avoid your eyes and then let it sit for a few minutes. When the mask has dried, rinse it from your face and pat dry any excess moisture. Follow his procedure with your regular moisturizer for best results.

One rather easy oatmeal facial entails simply blending together a whole egg, some cooked instant oatmeal and a tiny portion of olive oil. Blend these three ingredients until you have a soft paste. Spread the paste onto your face and let it dry. Once the mask has dried, rinse your face with some lukewarm water. Your face will be dirt free, supple and oil free.

Perhaps you want to experiment with your own recipe this is ok too. Just remember to patch test especially if you have sensitive skin that might react to an ingredient. Don't go to the expensive spa when you are likely to find a recipe right at home that will do the trick.
