TELEDIRECT INVITES YOU TO RUN TO FEED THE HUNGRY
by Phillip Eastwood Tuesday, November 23, 2010
The Run To Feed The Hungry is an annual fundraising event organized to help raise funds for the Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services organization. As more and more people lose their homes, jobs, and other forms of support systems, they turn to the Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services for help. The funds raised at this event will help men, women, and children all over the community, every day, by providing free emergency goods and life-changing services year round. This year over 30,000 people are expected to participate in the Run To Feed The Hungry.
TeleDirect wants to make a combined effort involving clients, employees, and friends to make a large impact on raising funds for the Sacramento Food Bank during the Run To Feed The Hungry event. Combined fund raising can make a tremendous impact. In fact, last year, five million pounds of food were distributed to over 15,000 people per month. These services help assist children, seniors, the disabled, the unemployed, and the working poor throughout the community. Being a volunteer effort, 95% of this fund raising event is comprised of volunteers.
TeleDirect invites anyone interested in helping to make a minimum donation of $15 to this fundraising effort. Challenging times bring people together and for that TeleDirect is rewarding donations made to the Sacramento Food Bank. TeleDirect will provide 1 free minute of service for every $2.00 donated to the Food Bank (with a maximum of 5,000 minutes) and will provide 1 free seminar seat for every $2.00 donates (minimum donation: $50) for their Seminar Edge clients.
TeleDirect would like to that everyone for allowing them to make a positive impact in their local community. For more information about donating to the Sacramento Food Bank and assisting with the Run To Feed The Hungry please contact Sandra Coggeshall at email@example.com or call 1-800-941-1828.
