Washington, DC -- The Institute on Religion and Public Policy today became the newest member of the Safe Internet Alliance, a nonprofit 501(c)(4) organization dedicated to the promotion of a safe Internet and better education and protection for all users - especially children, teens and the elderly - from Internet corruption, crime and abuse.

"By joining the Safe Internet Alliance we hope to assist in promoting an ethical and respectful Internet that does not endanger or threaten the beliefs of any individual or group," said Joseph K. Grieboski, president of the Institute on Religion and Public Policy. "We want an internet that allows each individual to exercise their beliefs safely, without fear of retaliation or attack for these views."

"We are pleased to have the Institute on Religion and Public Policy as a new member of the Safe Internet Alliance," Linda Criddle, president of Safe Internet Alliance, said. "This organization's input and views will be particularly helpful with the Alliance's goal of advancing an Internet ethic of respect and accountability online."
