In Singapore, ACRA prescribes that under certain conditions, the filing of financial accounts with its office and with IRAS is done using the XBRL format.

“It is to aim smooth flow of financial information into the international business community, and thereby, promotes business-conducive environment,” continues Asiabiz.

As a requirement, companies must submit to ACRA and IRAS their unaudited financial statements which include Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements, Budget, Estimated Chargeable Income, and Director’s Report.

These crucial documents must be submitted within six months from the scheduled Annual General Meeting.

Asiabiz Services provides Singapore accounting services particularly for small and medium-scale enterprises in Singapore.

“Among the functions of its accounting services include bookkeeping, payroll account, and preparation and filing of annual returns,” beams a business consultant of Asiabiz.

Accounting is a non-core business process most companies find it beneficial and convenient to outsource such function.

“When availed of its services, it shall assign an account manager to a company to assist it in its accounting needs based on the books and documents submitted,” explains Asiabiz.

Asiabiz adds: “ We also assist in drafting the Director’s Report as it is among the tremendous task of a resident director.”

A Director’s Report does not only present financial data. It also analyzes the data by giving notes and explanation to each item or date presented in the statement of accounts. The document shall also catalogue the interests of the board of directors, address immediate concerns, and propose measures that are to be decided during the board meeting.

After the Annual General Meeting, the companies must also submit to ACRA and IRAS the audited financial accounts and the resolution made by the board regarding the concerns raised on the Director’s Report.

Asiabiz also files the annual returns of companies as part of compliance of requirements. Each year during the financial year of the company, it is obliged to file the corporate annual return with ACRA.

Also included in Asiabiz’ specializations are nominee services, company incorporation, processing of work visas, and webhosting services.
